New Bike Store Offers Free Rides on the Katy Trail

Fleetwood’s Kit Kat, a new boutique near SMU that sells and rents cruiser bikes, is hosting FREE rides on Fridays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Show up early to stake your wheels (we hear hot pink goes fast), then follow him down the Katy Trail to Victory Park where you can grab a snack before heading back.

The boutique itself stocks vintage Western shirts, graphic tees, retro home furnishings, stickers (they’re free!), and homemade cupcakes on weekends. Five percent of proceeds from bike sales and rentals benefit Friends of Katy Trail.

Who knew cruisin’ could be so cool?Fleetwood’s Kit Kat, 5214 East Mockingbird Lane (214-282-9951 or fleetwoodskitkat.com).

Appreciate your staff for posting the information about our store. We hope to start a new trend with group rides on cruiser bikes along the Katy Trail. Our shop will serve the Katy Trail and what it stands for, which is quality recreational fun for the citizens and visitors of the Dallas. We will promote membership, monetary donations, and pledge to give 5% of all bike rental gross income to the Friends of the Katy Trail.
Feel free to stop by the shop anytime. We are open Wednesday through Sunday. In addition to our FREE group rides on Friday evening and Sundays at 2 pm, we sell and rent cruiser bicycles. Also carry accessories. Thanks Fleetwood

Great news! I was organizing a group bike ride and looking for somewhere near Mockingbird station to rent bikes. I'm pointing people to Fleetwood, and hope to check the store out soon.
